Dr Laura Willmann is a specialist Gastroenterologist, with key interests in inflammatory bowel disease and bowel cancer screening. Dr Willmann was accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2022 after completing Gastroenterology & Hepatology training in Sydney and the Gold Coast, including an additional year of subspeciality fellowship experience in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Dr Willmann holds a public appointment as a Staff Specialist at the Gold Coast University Hospital, and consults privately through Gold Coast Private Hospital.

Dr Willmann's special areas of interest include gastroscopy and colonoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, bowel cancer screening and polyp surveillance, iron deficiency anaemia, coeliac disease, reflux and peptic ulcer disease, functional GI disorders / irritable bowel syndrome.
